Abhijit Patil is a documentary photographer from Pune. He now moonlights as a farmer who is trying to figure out self-sustenance. With photojournalistic experience of more than 10 years his body of work focuses on daily life in an observational way where he chooses ordinary over extraordinary. He has worked with India Today, TOI group, Sakal publication, AFP, AP, Forbes India and AJ+. He is the recipient of Media Foundation of India Award for his work 'Rojandari' (Daily wage) in 2014. He is the founder of 'Sadakchhaap,’ an ongoing public art project.
