Khursheed Ahmad (Srinagar, India) pursued bachelor’s degree in Kashmir University in painting and is currently studying master’s degree in visual arts. His art practice lies in multiple disciplines i.e. performance, text, sound, drawing, found object and photography. The intention to overlap these mediums is to challenge the interaction between space, body and language.

He intends to explore the ways in which bodies respond to spaces to create differences and to open windows to probe further into the interrelationship between act or text and the meaning. Khursheed is a recipient of the Inlaks Fine Arts Award 2018 and is currently an artist-in-residence at TIFA.
