Parsa Sanjana Sajid teaches at Independent University, Bangladesh and edits Fragments Magazine. She writes for New Age Bangladesh and her work has appeared on Depart Magazine. Apart from a wide ranging interest in politics, art, and culture; she writes, thinks around and about these issues, primarily on negotiating and challenging power. Her other projects have included film exhibitions on insurgency, a series (talks, films) on the 1947 partition, a photography exhibition of crowds, and talks on shame and erotics, among others.
Parsa has a bachelor's and a master's from Mount Holyoke College and Harvard University in the US respectively.
