Yogesh Ramkrishna is a young artist based out of Pune. His art practice articulates the friction between traditional Indian beliefs and urban Indian life as they come to terms with each other. His works are based on studying the influences of post-truth realities and the ways of construction of modern myths with their subsequent effect on the behaviours of society.His works have been published in “Art Dose Zine (Issue-4), “Hakara” online magazine, Kooshk Residency Report. He was also a part of various art residencies like Black Church Print Residency with Irish Museum of Modern Art -Dublin-Ireland, Kooshk Residency– Iran, Space Studio Residency-Vadodara, and Piramal Residency – Mumbai Along with his solo exhibit “Don’t believe me! I am telling the Truth!”, Yogesh has actively participated in various curated shows across India and abroad.
