Aditya Garg | India
Aditya Garg is a performer in Theatre and film. He is a compelling Storyteller, where he combines
his observation, writing, his roots from Rajasthan and his acting rigour to bring to life a
performance moment. His training in dance and physical theatre add a unique dimension to his
performance vocabulary.
He has worked in theatre ecosystems in Mumbai and Bangalore. With every performance, he is
exploring and engaging with new forms: Masking, Kalaripayattu, Contemporary movement, Folk
storytelling and Improvisation. Through this exploration over the last seven years, Aditya has
developed a structured learning practice where actors can train to bring characters to life. He
facilitates a workshop under the Visual Respiration banner, Character Arc. His performances
include Stand on the Street (2017), The Trunk and the Nose directed by Siddhanth Sundar (2016),
Padagu directed by Siddhanth Sundar (2016)
When he is not moving in the studio or penning down script ideas, he is reading string theory,
watching films or writing poetry.
