Poorna Swami is a choreographer, dancer, and writer based in Bangalore, India. She has performed her choreography in and around New York City, at the Wassaic Project Festival, Theater for the New City, Gibney Dance, Movement Research, Triskelion Arts, and La MaMa Experimental Theatre Club. Her more recent work has shown at venues in Bangalore and Goa, including Shoonya - Centre for Art and Somatic Practices, 1 Shanthiroad Studio/ Gallery, and Gallery Gitanjali. She holds a BA in Dance-Theatre and English from Mount Holyoke College (USA) and is a recipient of the 2018 danceWEB scholarship at ImPulsTanz - Vienna International Dance Festival.
