Yuji Nakagawa is a sarangi player and one of the foremost disciples of the late Pandit Dhruba Ghosh. He has performed across the country and the world, and integrates his practice with the musics of his home country Japan, and his adopted home in India. For this project, he and Shruthi have been collaborating to find an essence of the sarangi beyond labels of classical and folk, that bring out the abhangs presented.
